Website Development / Design
There are four basic steps to launching your customized website: planning, design, approval, and launch. By offering a complete website development and hosting service, Rural Tech is able to shield the customer from any technical involvement.

Planning
Before we begin any design, we must first understand what your goal is. We would discuss the purpose of your website and use that to help you choose, or suggest for you, a website design and domain name (www.example.com). In addition, we would define a list of "links" that would serve as the content skeleton for your website (ex. about, catalog, contact, etc.). This is also a good time for you to begin to gather website content such as text, photos, descriptions, pricing, etc. Don't worry, we'd be happy crop your digital photos or scan your printed originals.
If you plan to host and register your website with Rural Tech (recommended), we can setup your new email addresses at this stage (ex. user@example.com).
Design
Rural Tech will take your inputs and begin a graphic layout of your new website. We can integrate your business' logo or special photo, and choose an appropriate color scheme and style. We will email you with samples for approval before we begin any major development work. You'll be able to see how/where your site's "links" will be, and get a glimpse of the final product. If everything looks good, we will design your template and begin to load the website with your initial content (text, photos, etc.).
Approval
Once the design is complete, and all of the content has been loaded, we will submit the website for your final review. If you are not satisfied at this time, we will continue to modify your page until you are 100% satisfied.
Launch
Once we have final approval, we're ready for launch. If you have chosen to host and register your website with Rural Tech (recommended), we will have your page live on the internet within minutes; it's that easy.

Website Hosting & Domain Registration
Unlike many other website design companies, Rural Tech offers website hosting and domain registration (w/ multiple email accounts). This makes it easy for individuals who do not want to get involved with any technical issues, or businesses who would simply like to consolidate their service providers. For one low monthly fee, Rural Tech will register your domain name, keep your website "live", maintain your email accounts (webmail comes standard), and keep a record of your website statistics.
However, if you prefer to have more control of your hosting service, every hosting account comes equipped with its own full-featured control panel (add/delete email accounts, web statistics, PHP scripts, etc.).
Website Maintenance
For existing pages, Rural Tech offers a complete website maintenance service. We understand that most businesses and individuals would rather pay to have content added or updated on their website, rather than waste precious time dealing with HTML code or FTP uploads. For a competitive hourly rate, Rural Tech will add or update content to your website at any time. Simply email us your request and we'll update your website, typically, within 24-48 hours.
