Portfolio - Continued (Older Websites)

Here are some examples of websites that Rural Tech has created. Please feel free to e-mail us with any questions or comments. Please visit our services page for more information about the development/design process.

Created in 2007, this site is a redesign of the original Lake County Winegrape Growers website. It includes enhanced features such as a bulletin board forum and classified advertisement posting system.   This site was created in 2001 for a National History Day Competition. This page won first place at the Lake County competition, and placed at the California State Finals.

This site was created in 2003 for a local entrepreneur. It featured a growing product line with a fully integrated shopping cart, and secure Paypal checkout.   This site was created in 2003 for Santa Clara University's Department of Electrical Engineering. It served as the main portal for current undergraduate and graduate students, prospective students, and faculty.

This site was created in 2002 for a local self-storage business. Sites such as these can be very effective for attracting clients that live out of county, or locals who need contact information.   This site was created in 2002 for a company that specializes in ISO 9001:2000 certification. It shows potential clients a portfolio of completed projects, consultant biographies and contact information.

Created in 2004, the Lake County Winegrape Growers website serves the community and members of the Winegrape Commission. It is updated bi-weekly, featuring a daily weather update, user forum, event calendar, and grapes for sale.   This site was created in 2001 for a local water salesman. His site featured custom graphics and on online ordering form.

This site was created in 2000 for our local high school. The page is no longer being updated by Rural Tech, but the graphics and layout remain as a good example.   This site was created in 1998 for a renown wire puzzle maker. His site featured his hand-made products, and an online ordering form. Due to the owner's retirement, this site is no longer in use, but serves a design example.

These websites were created using HomeSite 4.5 HTML Editor and Macromedia Dreamweaver. If you right click on any of these pages and choose 'view source', you will see that the HTML coding is very neat and organized. This allows for easier changes and faster download times.
